I haven't been very excited about Christmas this year. Usually once we have snow, I start to look forward to the holidays. It just hadn't happened this year yet. I think it's because I'm working midnights and I have been very busy with bag orders, so I haven't really had the time to Christmas shop. Thank God for online shopping.
Today I decided to put the Christmas tree up and wrap some presents before I went back to my sewing room to finish my last holiday order. Needless to say I had a lot of help. My baby Sophie loves the Christmas tree.
This helped put me in the spirit. I finished my bag order and made a fantastic scarf for my sister. I think it is probably my most favourite item I've made in a long time. I'm going to make matching mittens, so I'll post the set when I'm finished.
I better get back to work while I'm still feeling creative.

My Sunday Goals
I have a list about a mile long of new stuff I want to sew. Wallets, zipper pouches, some x-mas gifts for my new niece and the list goes on. What I'm doing is my third large tote order in 3 weeks. I'm not complaining really. This is good for business but sometimes I really miss creating something brand new that I haven't done before. Especially when I have so many ideas running through my head.
This is my plan for today. I will finish the bag order. This should be my last one before the holidays, as it is getting to late to ship in time for Christmas. I am going to clean my sewing room. Really I am. Then I am going to start working on some new stuff. It's always good to have a plan.
What I'm not going to do is read through all my favourite Blogs, spend hours on the Etsy forums or read my new books.
Wish me luck!
